La Trela, typical dialect of the Alta Valtellina, defines the local, a little ‘pantry and a little’ wine cellar, was used to store milk, cheese, wine and fresh food. The traveler who happened to be staying near a trela, could hardly think the treasures hidden behind those simple stone walls, within which ran a streak of fresh water that served as a natural conditioner constant.
