From Milano: take the SS36 towards Lecco/Sondrio for about 100 km.
At Trivio Fuentes take the SS38 exit towards Sondrio/ Tirano / Bormio.
At the next rotary take the third exit to take the road SS36 towards Chiavenna/Menaggio/St. Moritz and follow the main street for about 10 km. 
In Verceia turn right in proximity of the Hotel Saligari sign 

From Sondrio /Bormio: take the SS38 towards Lecco/Milano
At Trivio di Fuentes take the exit towards Chiavenna, Menaggio, St. Moritz, Valchiavenna.
At the next rotary take the SS36 TO Chiavenna, Menaggio , St Moritz
Follow the main road for about 10 km since you will see the Hotel Saligari sign

From Milano Centrale train station:take the train in direction to Sondrio or Tirano and get off in Colico. From Colico you have to take the train for Chiavenna and get off in Verceia (the second stop) 

From Sondrio/ Tirano: take the train for Milano Centrale and get off at Colico railway station. 
In Colico take a new run for Chiavenna and get off at Verceia train station (the second stop)
